It’s to get closer to the right people.
There’s a concept called the proximity principle. The idea is simple: get close to the people already doing what you want to do, and doors open faster than any application or cold email ever could.
The problem? Most of us from migrant backgrounds weren’t shown which rooms to walk into. Or we didn’t think they were for us.
That’s the gap I’m trying to close with Migrant Wealth Builders.
Not just content. Not just advice. But actual access to mentors, connectors, and people who’ve already figured out parts of the path you’re on.
Opportunity isn’t equally distributed. But proximity can change that.
Which room do you wish someone had invited you into earlier?
PS. I’m hosting an event in Sydney on April 28 — a curated gathering for people with migrant backgrounds and their allies. Founders, investors, operators, and professionals who want to support each other to build wealth beyond money. Come along if this is your vibe.
